A word from Chris Garland - MD

2007 has been our most successful and challenging year ever - by far - with the launch of bsmart, new technologies and getting to grips with all the exciting new developments coming out of the programming team. We also developed a new suite of conversion programs, which has seen a record number of new customers converting from other systems with minimal effort, which has helped us achieve yet another year of increased sales on top of all the upgrades to bsmart. In all we have converted clients from 12 different competitors' systems this year, which has caused a few grey hairs.

We have also been heavily involved with Fields, the fastest growing Retail Jeweller in the country, where we converted their data from Mircosoft Great Plans system and developed a new multi currency pricing module as well as redeveloping the system to cope with multiple distribution points, Assay consignments etc etc. We where also delighted to take on MacIntyres of Edinburgh who are a very well established wholesale jeweller with a large corporate business with a more traditional retail shop in Livingston. MacIntyres needed a lot of development to cater for their corporate and wholesale business which is ex-VAT and the retail business which works on different pricing calculations.

MacIntyres wrote to say, how pleased they are with the bsmart system and thanked us for all our help and how refreshing it is to work with a company who understands the retail jewellery business, this was especially welcoming as their previous system supplier also claims to specialize in the jewellery trade.
